While young children may not fully understand the Word in sacred scripture until they’re much older, they need to explore what seems to be a basic, common aspect of human nature: the need to know who you are and where you came from.
Focusing on a basic self confidence message, the delightful puppets Hur-Ray© and Kiddazy® (found on Krysta’s Kingdom, Angel and Starfish networks), along with their story are a fun and innovative way to bring imaginations to life. Role-play self esteem lessons build self-esteem and explore “inner” awareness.
By teaching strong principals and communicate that values, when acted upon, will help develop strong character. Hur-Ray© and Kiddazy® demonstrate that becoming a true cheer leader means finding your “inner” cheer, and encouraging and empowering others to do the same by sharing that “YEAH! YEAH!” cheer out loud.
Through these self-esteem lesson plans, children can develop their faith, gain important foundational skills, expand their problem-solving abilities, and acquire valuable social skills to spark an ongoing passion for knowledge that can be shared beyond their religious communities.
YYOL© offers the opportunity to build a foundation focusing on the goodness of God, acknowledging God’s presence and the connection between faith, religious spaces and our environment.
Using this resource also provides ways for families to think together, building self esteem and the values they hold dear, igniting discussions, and a way to incorporate self esteem building into their daily lives.
When children are given opportunities through YEAH YEAH Out Loud® self-esteem activities to be tuned in to their emotions, then also through worship, they can associate with faith, joy and love, and learn to be spiritually responsive.
Effective children’s ministries equip children to care for others, helping them realize people from all different faiths can work together to make the world a better place for everyone.
Try YYOL® and see how you can send this positive message to your group!
